Where To Find The Best Breakfast In Seminyak

Whenever we are in Seminyak we were on a mission to find the most delicious breakfast! And lunch… and dinner… we pretty much spend our entire time in a food coma. But it’s well worth it as we find some great cafes and restaurants. But did we find the best breakfast in Seminyak? Here are some of our absolute favourites… you’ll have to come and try them and see for yourself :)

Sisterfields – Beautiful Cafe Design

They say that you eat with your eyes, but not only does the food look (and taste) good here, but this cafe has a beautiful design. A must visit! The eggs Benedict with house smoked salmon is Chris’s favourite (see top photo).

Cafe Kim Soo – Designer Breakfast

Really nice space with quality homewares, some great food , cakes and friendly service. What more do you need. One of our regulars when in Seminyak. The pumpkin and white bean hummus is one of our breakfast go to’s.

Cafe Organic – Garden Gangstas

This place is one of our favourites. Come here for an amazing breakfast. I love the smoothie bowls here.

Ku De Ta – Tastiest Food

The breakfast at Ku De Ta was up there with best breakfast food we tasted. And it’s location right on the beach doesn’t hurt.

Sea Circus – Colourful And Fun

We had a great breakfast at Sea Circus, and love it’s laid back and fun atmosphere.

Nalu Bowls – When You’re In Bali you have Bowls

A go to for delicious smoothie bowls. Only a bar, but that doesn’t take away from the experience. More of a quick breakfast spot, unless you head upstairs to the Shelter Cafe (see below).

Shelter Cafe – Fun And Relaxing

Great relaxing vibe serving Nalu Bowls too (they are downstairs). Great spot.

Petitenget – Beautiful Design Inside And Out

Petitenget is another beautifully designed cafe in Seminyak. Great breakfast, and you’re also only a short walk away from the beach.

Watercress – The Local Expat Feel

Located on Batu Belig, it’s out of the touristy-ness of Seminyak. It has a more local and relaxed feel, and the food is amazing. We have only had lunch here, but Watercress gets a good wrap for it’s breakies!

Revolver – For Coffee Lovers

Probably the best coffee in Seminyak, revolver was once a hidden gem. But not for long, now it’s frequented by many for it’s reputation of quality coffee and tucked away location. Although we can only vouch for their coffee, we have heard positive things about breakfast here too.

They also now have another location in Seminyak, Baby Revolver.

The Fat Turtle – All Day Breakfast

Good food, nice staff. When we have been here we have always had eggs, but the red velvet pancakes were hard not to order.

Ippolito Coffee – Off The Beaten Track

Known for great speciality coffee and breakfast, it’s not in the main drag, which we think is one of it’s positives! Not just an ordinary cafe, they roast their own coffee beans and you can also have a swim here too in the connected villas pool which is a perk ;)

La Lucciola – Beachfront Bliss

La Lucciola is a Seminyak favourite of many, located right on Petitenget Beach. Although it’s open for lunch and dinner too, the breakfast here was really tasty and with views of the beach, breakfast seems like a perfect time to come here. Having breakfast here can almost feel like you’re in a fancy resort.

SOUQ Cafe- Shop for Breakfast

Not a big cafe, but a cute section of a beautiful homewares store. Great coffee and food.

Cornerhouse – Another Great Cafe

This is yet another great place for a coffee and breakfast. Sit inside or out.

Monsieur Spoon – Bakery Treats

More of a Bakery/Patisserie, great to pick up or eat in. We have had the apple turnover and lemon meringue tart many times, and they are both top notch. Oh… and they deliver!

Livingstone Bakery (Downstairs) – Faculty Kitchen And Bar (Upstairs)

The breakfast at both Livingstone and Faculty, upstairs, were nice. We have enjoyed the food more from Faculty though, I especially loved the iced chai latte. It was more the atmosphere, space and design that we walked out talking about. A beautiful bakery/cafe, perfect for a lazy morning breakfast.

Grocer and Grind – Long Standing Favourite

Admittedly we only had coffee here (there are only so many breakfasts we can eat), but the atmosphere was great and Grocer and Grind gets great reviews as a breakfast spot too!
