Le Meridien Jimbaran is the perfect mix of style, location, and fun. It manages to exude sophistication whilst remaining exciting and creative.
First Impressions
Arriving at Le Meridien Jimbaran, we got whisked into a golf buggy to take us up to the lobby. I’m not sure why, but there’s something special about being picked up in a golf buggy. As the lobby reveals itself, I understand why the lobby is up higher, with views over the lagoon, pool and unique architecture of the property.
Location, Location, Location
Le Meridien Jimbaran overlooks Jimbaran Beach. Although it is not directly on the beach, it’s all but a short walk and it’s just behind my favourite section of delicious seafood restaurants. Jimbaran Bay is a perfect location to relax at the beach, take in the local culture at the traditional markets or seafood markets, or you can venture a little further and explore the Bukit beaches and Uluwatu.
The Room
Our room at Le Meridien Jimbaran had the type of furnishings you see in magazines, the ones you tear out and put onto your ‘future home’ mood board.
The room was large, had two steps down into the desk/lounge and balcony area, making it feel like a seperate space.
The bathroom was again large and luxurious. We spent many moments on the balcony taking in the view of the lagoon and pool area.
Beyond The Room
Breakfast was set right beside the pool… not a bad way to start the day. Eggs were made to order and a variety of dishes were available.
The pool was well designed with different areas to swim around. The swim up bar was mystical with it’s water cascade.
After a swim in the pool or beach, or anytime for that matter, taste the delicious gelato at WaLa, Le Meridien’s very own gelato cafe.
Smoqee Bar is a rooftop bar with a great view, especially for sunset, overlooking Jimbaran Beach and the seafood restaurants. Be prepared for the smoke from the seafood restaurants to waft up temp you to finish your cocktail and head for a seafood dinner! One of our favourite Bali smells!
Our stay at Le Meridien Jimbaran was relaxing, stylish and with a great location. The room design was one of our favourites, and sums up Le Meridien Jimbaran – modern and chic. Our stay here felt like a perfect fit… there’s just something about Le Meridien.

just a quick question, weather doesn’t look great in the video, what time of the month did you?
I love hot hot hot :)
thank you holly
Hi Holly, thanks so much :) It was a beautiful hotel! We stayed here in January, which is during the wet season. The wet season is still very hot though, you just need to expect some rain showers. We love Bali all year round, but if you want to avoid rain, the dry season might be your best bet (around April – September). Have a great trip :)
