Bali has some super incredible places to eat, so where to eat in Sanur? There are some delicious restaurants, cafes and desserts, as well as some great local food and Indonesian flavours. I have had some incredible food moments in Sanur. Here are some of our favourite places and where to eat in Sanur.
Where To Eat In Sanur: Restaurants
Spice By Chris Salans Sanur
This one of our favourite places if we were asked where to eat in Sanur. Spice has a focus on…yes spices, roots and herbs, and combining them with the best ingredients. Some of our favourite things here are the bangkuang dumplings with fragrant soya sauce and the pork belly with a delicious turmeric dressing. There is also a Spice in Ubud, and soon to be one in Seminyak too.
Jl. Danau Tamblingan 140
Every day from 8 AM to 11 PM
Massimo Bali
Italian food in Sanur. Not what you might be thinking but they do great pizza and pasta. Always busy here so you may need to wait if you do not book. And they do great home made Gelato.
Jl. Danau Tamblingan 228

Sanur Cafes And Coffee Time
Nook Cafe
Great cafe option in Sanur for your smoothie bowl fix. The other meals and drinks we’ve tried have been pretty good too.

Kopi Kiosk: Coffee Hut
Nice option for a coffee if you are walking along the main road through Sanur.

Taste The Local Flavours: Warungs and Markets
Warung Kecil
This is a great option for a quick Indonesian meal in Sanur. The impression we got of Warung Kecil is slightly more western flavoured Indonesian food. You can pick from an array of tasty looking options, served with rice. Nice food, close to the beach and super popular.
Jl. Duyung 1
Every day from 8 AM to 10 PM
Sanur Night Food Market (Pasar Sindu Market)
For a local feel and great Indonesian flavours head straight to the night market here. It may not be huge but there is still a good selection of tasty dishes. We love the Chicken Martabak and the satay is pretty good too.
Sanur Night Market
End of Jl. Danau Tamblingan When it turns into Jl. Danau Toba, from here it is straight ahead.
Every Evening
Nasi Ayam Men Weti
This is about as local a feel I’ve had eating in Bali. The bowl of food might look like a mess, but it was really good. Beautiful spices…hot sambal…crispy chicken skin…yum. Better to get here early so you don’t miss out. If you are after local flavours then this is a perfect place to eat in Sanur.
Men Weti
Jl. Segara Ayu
Every morning from 8 AM to 11 AM
Warung Coconut Tree
If you are after some simple, tasty warung fare then Coconut Tree is a good pick.
Warung Coconut Tree

Drinks
Tree Bar At Maya Sanur
There are countless of places for a drink along the beach but Tree Bar is a nice pick. Whilst we have not had any food here, it is a great place to spend happy hour. Good cocktails, looking out over the beach and the water.
Maya Sanur, Jl. Danau Tamblingan (Can enter from the beach walkway too)
Every day 10 AM to 12 AM
Desserts
Gaya Gelato Trattoria Sanur
Gelato is always a perfect option on a hot afternoon. Gaya Gelato has a few locations in Bali now, all have beautiful gelato.
Jl. Danau Tamblingan 192
Every day 8 AM to 11:30 PM
Massimo Bali
Massimo already got a mention for restaurants but they also have a Gelato bar at the front. Delicious home made gelato.
