Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak: Our First Impressions

From the moment we arrived to Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak we instantly felt the energy and atmosphere in the air. People by the pool, at the swim up bar, even playing ping pong. Everyone looked to be making the most of their Bali holiday. We loved the wooden globes on the reception counters also. Sunset whilst not your typical ‘sunset view’ was still a special one whilst having a swim and admiring the hotel.

Location, Location, Location

We had stayed in the area before however had not explored the immediate area as well as we thought we had. The Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak is in a great location. When you stay in Seminyak you may think that everything is close to the beach. Nothing is too far, but in the main streets in Seminyak it may definitely be an effort to get to the beach. Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak is a short walk from the beach which we loved. Great food and drink options as well as shops are close too.

The Room

We stayed in a Deluxe Pool Terrace which gave us direct access to the pool which we loved. The nice big shower was great and we enjoyed much lounging outside looking out to the pool. Had all those things you look for :).

Beyond The Room

The Pool was three ‘interconnecting’ pools which added not only difference but choice. One minute you could be at the swim up bar or looking over the edge at the top pool, then pulling out some freestyle in the long middle pool. There’s also a shallow pool that’s more family friendly. The choice was yours. We loved the table tennis table. Just that element of fun added to our stay. We played quite a bit. We agreed to call it a ‘draw’.

The Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak had those things you expect from a 5 star property. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms, with great facilities, and that extra factor that made you feel comfortable and enjoy yourself.
