There is definitely no shortage of great food in Seminyak. From fine dining to the local Warungs Seminyak has you covered. This article will show some of the Warungs in Seminyak we love.
Let’s start with our favourite. We love this place. Try the Corn Fritters, Oxtail Soup or Special Nasi Campur with Rica Rica Chicken. When after a warung in Seminyak Baku Dapa is a good place to start as you don’t need to point, you get a menu.
We almost didn’t make it here this trip. Glad we did. Rica Rica Chicken is not found in every warung so we always get it when we can. Rica means chilli in Sulawesi Language. So basically chilli chilli chicken Indonesian style. Everywhere does it different. They do a good one. Point to order.
Another warung option is Kolega. On our visit we were really just after a snack so did not sample much of their food. We did love their crispy fried tempe manis. Can’t go wrong with crispy tempe, sambal and rice. Appeared to be a local and expat favourite. Point to Order.
Warung Aneka Rasa
This was the first ‘point to order’ style warung we tried on our first trip to Bali. We ordered quite conservatively. Was quite tasty. Very popular when we were there we almost did not get a seat. Simple and cheap.
The Wrap Up
This is just a few warungs in Seminyak that we have tried and would return to. I would say that this list is in our preference order. There are plenty more warungs that we can’t wait to try. They are a great way to experience Bali and Indonesia in a more authentic way.
