Lombok Climate

Lombok has a beautiful tropical climate. It is hot and humid all year round. Temperatures range from 21 – 32 degree’s Celsius.

Temperatures can also vary depending where exactly you are on Lombok. For example, if you are in mountainous areas, it is likely to be cooler.

Lombok Seasons

Lombok has two main seasons – wet and dry.

The Dry Season runs from May through to September. Whilst the Wet Season runs from October through to April.

In Lombok, the wet season has less rainfall then Bali, making it drier all year round, therefore Lombok’s Wet Season is more appealing then Bali’s. The Wet season is also slightly less humid.

Temperatures can also vary depending where exactly you are on Lombok. For example, if you are in mountainous areas, it is likely to be cooler.

It is also important to go in the dry season to avoid as much rain as possible. Temperatures can range from 4 – 26 degrees celsius whilst making the trek. The lowest temperatures are at the summit, and a lot of people only trek to the crater rim which can still get down to 10 degrees celsius at night. So it’s important to plan ahead and ensure you have adequate clothing to make the trek.
